In 1974, Max Maryk revolutionized the denim industry by offering affordable designer-styled jeans without compromising on quality. He transformed his '68 Ford LTD into a mobile denim store, bringing unbeatable deals to denim enthusiasts. This mobile store became a symbol of affordability and style, featuring Canadian Jeans. In 1977, Warehouse One made a bold move by transitioning from a mobile store to a physical location on Henderson Highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This marked the beginning of our journey to shape the denim world. We expanded our collection to include diverse styles, cuts, and washes, catering to fashion-forward individuals. This transition reflected our commitment to providing designer-styled jeans at affordable prices under one roof. Today not only do we offer diverse styles in cuts and washes but we also are size inclusive and offer extended sizing.
SUSTAINABLE VALUES AND UNBEATABLE PRICES:
As Warehouse One flourished, we recognized the importance of sustainable fashion and the need to minimize our environmental impact. Committed to making a difference, Warehouse One set ambitious sustainability goals. Warehouse One now sources denim from Eco- Friendly suppliers, that promotes responsible production methods while reducing our carbon footprint. We also prioritize ethical practices. Near the end of 2018 Warehouse One started using recycled fibres to make our Men’s 1680 Heritage line. Using these Fibres, resulted in less consumption of natural resources. With the success of this product launch, we expanded our eco-washed denim collection, which uses 70% less water, 45% less energy, and 65% less chemicals than the traditional denim manufacturing. This process gave us our Eco-Jeans.
